I just booked a flight to New York for a measly $193 for May 29th through June 4th. My nanny family will be out of town that week, so I figured I'd end up bumming around at home since all of the flights resulting in my searches were around $500. Ashley called me moments ago tell me about this flight - there was one ticket left, and I got it!
Not long from now I will be snacking at Babycakes, snuggling with my sister and delighting in the warmth of a late east coast spring. Oh, how I so desperately need this.
I can hardly wait!
Hey! Welcome back to NYC. I never sent over a tips sheet but let me know if you still want it. I'm going to be in Seattle next weekend so I would also appreciate some help. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteaww you're going to New York! lucky you.. i'm sure it will be amazing - NY always is :) I hope you have a great trip.. take some NY pics for the blog ;)
ReplyDeleteSure, I'd love to uncover any other places that might still be a mystery to
ReplyDeleteme now. I'm sure there are lots!
As for Seattle - the one place you must go while you're here is La Carta De
Oaxaca (http://www.lacartadeoaxaca.com/). They have the most delicious
mexican food, hands down. There are plenty of other places to visit in
Seattle too, of course - but with only one weekend, Oaxaca must be at the
top of your list!
I definitely will! Hopefully I can get my parent's Olympus SLR fixed by
ReplyDeletethen. That will be the perfect opportunity to test it out.
Fantastic news!! I caught up on your blog over the quiet weekend, and loved reading about you receiving mail, finding the vintage camera, taking pictures for your friend's web shop, visiting nurseries, etc. <3
ReplyDeleteOh, good! I did the same with yours recently. I think after all these years, you're one of the few LJ people I've kept up with.
ReplyDeleteYES! YES! YES! I can hardly wait to see your face at my doorstep. xxoo
ReplyDeleteWell... I expect to see yours sooner than the time at which I'd arrive at your doorstep! It looks like getting from La Guardia is going to be a pain in my bum and I'd love your company on the trip.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I want to go!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I suppose you will. I actually favor La Guardia over the other airports. It truly is not so bad. You just take a bus and the train. I will be at the airport waiting for you.
ReplyDeletePhew. Google maps made it look scary.
