Last Friday, Martina, Cornelia (sweetest German lady - she was a guest here last week), Ashley and I jumped into the Land Rover and drove out to the Alcúdia Peninsula, where Martina led us on a hike to Talaia d'Alcúdia. We climbed up to the very tippy-top, which is 445 meters high (1,459 feet). There's not much that I could say that isn't already described in the photos. I wanted to make you feel as though you were going on the three hour long walk with me - so, here are a TON!
I love riding around the island in Tim's Land Rover. I feel like I'm in an Indiana Jones film.
Lara was very enthusiastic the entire time; constantly zipping up and down the trails.
I had Ashley take my picture near the top - but clearly, I'm much better at being on the other end of the camera.
Ruins at the very top - can you imagine living up there?!
Eeek!
SO GORGEOUS!
PS. Can anyone tell me why this keeps showing up on my posts lately?
