I know! I have no idea what can be done to clean it up or contain it. I heard on NPR that burning it only gets rid of 3% of the oil on the surface (not that that's an environmentally friendly method...). The expert on the radio didn't seem to have any other ideas as to how to fix it. Totally scary, and not to mention, disgusting.
yes that's so sad, we're following this from Spain because something very similar happened years ago in Galicia, the north of the country, I hope the weather change and it could be easer to clean the zone.
