Today Kai surprised me by joining in while I was singing "Till There Was You", and then continued to sing along with me to all of the other songs I sing him to sleep with on a daily basis. He knows every single word of every one. My heart melted, I nearly cried, and I felt pretty excited when I realized I had just come one step closer to being like Maria von Trapp.
