L A S T  D A Y  I N  P A R I S

After returning from Versailles (which totally blew my mind by the way) the next day, we meandered around the city, taking in different sights. I was determined to go to the original Diptyque shop, and so we did. I bought my Gramma a rose scented soap for her birthday, and one for myself as well. We had lunch at a cafe in the sunshine and then sadly said our goodbyes to Salomé and Émilie. Ashley and I roamed around a bit, stopped into Repetto, looked around, sighed and left. We wandered back to Ladurée for one last taste of heaven. I had a kouign aman, Ashley more macarons. We ate them on the steps of the Church of Saint Germain,  and then made our way "home" to pack and catch our overnight bus to Munich.

I love you, Paris.

  1.  Looks fantastic... I've never been to Paris. But I went to the soldes/repetto in toulouse instead :)

  2. That's exactly what I did, walked into Repetto, sighed, and left.  :)

Diptyque is great.  I've never found any scents I like as much as theirs.  There used to be one here in Boston but it closed a few years ago, bummer.

Glad to hear you had a good last day there!
