After a bike ride to the Coves de Campanet (pictures coming soon after!), I put together a nice little lunch for Sister and I. We took advantage of a quiet afternoon and donned our swimsuits for the first time this year, napped pool-side, laughed a lot and got some sun.
It's hard to believe, but it's true - our last day here at La Serranía is very quickly approaching. We leave on Friday! I have mixed, bittersweet feelings about it - but I know Ash and I are ready and excited for the next chapter of our adventure; Barcelona with Elena & Clara! Cannot wait!
We bought our train tickets today and plan to travel along the French Riviera once we leave Barcelona, then pop back into Spain for a few days before we head north to Amsterdam (maybe Brussels, too).

I am sure this is a long shot - but I am going to put it out there just in case! We are looking for places to stay along the Riviera and also, I will need a place to go for a couple of weeks in May (the 3rd through the 15th) when I am in the UK*. I know so many of you are reading from all around Europe and the United Kingdom, so if you have room for us, we would be forever grateful! Please let me know if you, or perhaps a friend of yours, might be able to put us up for a few days within the next few weeks. We will wash your dishes, sweep your floors and be the most polite and enjoyable guests you've ever had - cross my heart!

*I just realized I never updated you all on what's happening with our long term plans and how we're getting around the Schengen dilemma. Whoops - I will do that soon!
your pictures are beautiful as always. and i am sure you will have loads of fun in barcelona. it is such a beautiful city! i am sorry i cannot be of any help in your travels throughout france, but you are more than welcome to stay at my place in greece any time you want :) have lots of fun traveling!
ReplyDeleteI see that you are going to Amsterdam and maybe Brussels and since your blog and pictures are so damn beautiful, I highly suggest you visit Antwerp, which is in between both cities. The train that goes from one city to the other one stops there and I swear is an amazing city for art, crafts, fashion and nice coffee (CAFFE NATION or bar choq).
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!:)
And I don't know what I did, but I wanted to post from my blog which is http://laurapeaches.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm not sure where in the UK you're heading but if you're going to Scotland, I'd be happy to recommend places to visit. I live in Edinburgh but am from the Highlands, so can recommend lots of things depending on what you're after... even if it's just the best shops or cafes to visit :-) Happy travelling! Anna
