East & Forward

We drove through the mountains to Selah for a couple of days over the long weekend. The sun didn't hang around much, but we made the most of it. The kids still spent the majority of the day in the pool, despite the wind and rain. I kept watching them through the window, wishing I were as tough as I once was. Kids seem to have a certain tolerance for discomfort, as long as they are having fun.

  1. Hi Alyson,

I used to follow your blog back in your nanny days. It's been a while since I've commented but I do still check in every now and then :)
I will be doing an internship in Seattle early next year and I'm pretty excited about seeing the city and that part of the country, since I haven't travelled much outside of NY.

Anyways, I thought about you and just wanted to ask if you know of any websites, blogs or anything Seattle related that would be worth checking out for someone with close to zero knowledge of the place?

Hope you're doing well! Good luck on your photo class - it sounds like a lot of fun.

I'm excited to hear you'll be in Seattle. I'd love to tell you all about my favorite spots and show you around, too.
